"I would like to place on record how much we enjoyed "The Magic Flute". The principals not only sounded wonderful but also looked the part- which is not always the case in professional opera. The chorus were absolutely magnificent, performing with both accuracy and feeling. An appropriate balance of comic and serious was maintained. The 'empty pyramid' setting and the pink ibis (both highlighted on the programme) were touches of genius. Thank you to each and every one who contributed to such an uplifting, enjoyable performance. "
