“I am writing to express how much I enjoyed the opera, I was lucky enough to have last-night tickets, and was mightily impressed by the production. I can't use any superlatives knowledgeably, being a first-timer with nothing to compare it with, but I was taken aback by the experience and can’t wait for next year's La Traviata. All the opera buffs I talked to seemed full of praise for the professionalism of the production, and coupled with the superb venue, the whole experience was delightful. Being an aspiring singer of folk music, ,I was staggered how powerful the principal voices were, emanating from such small, young bodies! I particularly liked the Wild West setting, which I suspect made it more accessible for a newbie, and the comic touches added greatly to (what seemed to me) the brilliant translation by A manda Holden. Please pass on my thanks to the company for an unforgettably delightful evening.”

“It was a joy to watch a performance of this quality and  detail’ ...

"‘so much humour in little details and just nicely exaggerated characterisations"...

"the ‘secret’ scene  was just brilliant‘ and I laughed out loud ”
